2015 was an extremely active year for our retail acquisitions team. Lofthouse and Partners, acting on behalf of Hays Travel, the UK’s largest independent travel agents, have assisted with their continued expansion plans in the North East, Yorkshire and South Coast. Following an aggressive 12 month period of acquisitions we have delivered new store openings in the North East including Barnard Castle, Blyth, Cramlington, Jesmond, Metro Centre, Morpeth and Redcar, and in Yorkshire shops have been acquired in Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Castleford and Shipley with a number of other towns presently in solicitors hands. On the South Coast we have added shops in Bognor Regis, Bournemouth, Exmouth, and Guernsey again with additional locations in the pipeline. L&P have acted as property advisors to Hays Travel since they opened their first shop in Seaham County Durham 30 years ago and we are pleased to provide continued assistance with their expansion programme as appointed property advisors nationwide.
